1L Gebirgs or Medical Canteen R&KInteresting example of a 1L canteen. The only markings include an ink stamp 307 and a very hidden embossed R&K. It is in fairly good condition. There is a small hole in the cover and the snaps are a bit rusty but still working. The is some very subtle discoloration in the wool cover, likely from moisture. The leather is in good condition but it reminds me of lower quality later war straps or items made for civilian organizations or the Luftschutz.
