Old Carignan vines from three parcels, the oldest planted in 1948, give it a brooding complexity that lighter ross rarely touch: dried wild strawberry, iron, garrigue, and a beguiling saline lift that comes straight from the Camargue lagoons visible from the domaine. The tannins are gossamer fine, the finish long and mineral. Chill
